This Cabernet Franc is crafted from old-vine grapes grown on our Conn Valley Estate. Situated on the rocky hillsides overlooking Lake Hennessey, these vineyards exemplify classic mountain-style Cabernet Franc.

Tasting Notes

Inky purple in color, invigorating aromas of raspberries, cassis, dried flowers, sage, crushed stones, and boysenberry pie permeate the glass. A bright array of spiced red berries, black pepper, violets, and cedar glides over the palate, presenting a fleshy yet restrained wine possessing elegance and purity. Lush tannins provide structure without overpowering the fruit, with a keen layer of acidity that lingers on the finish. With only 6 barrels produced, this wine highlights the beauty and grace of our estate and can be enjoyed now while also having the presence and power to age exquisitely.
