Our 2021 Dad’s Block tells the story reflective of a truly wonderful vintage. Dramatic aromas of black cherry, spiced mocha, blackberry cobbler, violets, sandalwood, truffle, wet earth, and volcanic loam continue to evolve with time in the glass. This cooler site helps promote the purity of fruit that is grown on this southeastern facing hillside overlooking Lake Hennessey. A sumptuous and concentrated mouthful of black raspberries, chocolate-covered cherries, spiced tobacco, wild herbs, blackberry cream, and vanilla canvas the palate, all wrapped in silky and luxurious tannins that finish with exceptional length and sophistication. With a nod to tradition and family, we are honored to add another chapter to this estate single vineyard’s legacy.
