TASTING NOTES
A complex and polished blend of Bordeaux varieties from our mountain estates, the 2022 vintage provides a wonderful example of how the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts. Heady aromas of wild blackberries, cherry compote, baker’s chocolate, wild bay, gravelly loam, currants, and exotic spice are just the beginning, while additional notes of tobacco leaf, underbrush, truffle, wet stone, and cigar box mingle effortlessly with time in the glass. Not to be outdone, the palate is full of blackberry pie, cherry cream, cola, wet earth, spiced mocha, and touches of vanilla bean. Crimson-laced tannins and keen acidity frame the entire experience, followed by a pristine and sophisticated finish.
