An ode to Grant's father, our 2022 Dad's Block conveys a liquid story worthy of one of his marvelous tales. Provocative aromas of wild blackberries, spiced mulberries, baker's chocolate, black truffle, crushed rock, lilacs, Turkish tobacco, and hints of creme brulee vibrantly express the purity of the site. Rich and decadent layers of blackberry cobbler, chocolate-covered blueberries, fresh sage, crushed flowers, and spiced vanilla cream wash over the palate with ease, leading into polished mountain tannins that finish with tremendous length and energy while capturing the soul of the estate. Another memorable offering from this single vineyard that honors the legacy that ties our family together.
