2023 Dad's Block

ESTATE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

A tribute to legacy and the enduring spirit of family, this wine, grown in our estate vineyard above Lake Hennessey, tells a deeply personal story with this newest vintage. Aromas of wild blackberry, black cherry, spiced mocha, truffle, and violet rise from the glass, layered with notes of Turkish tobacco, volcanic loam, and hints of crème brûlée. On the palate, rich layers of blackberry cobbler, chocolate-covered fruit, spiced vanilla cream, and fresh herbs unfold with depth and elegance. Silky, polished tannins carry the wine to a long, vibrant finish that balances boldness with approachability. Each vintage adds a meaningful chapter in honoring tradition while capturing the soul of the estate.
